13.03 news.jpgOn March 5, the German Ambassador to Russia, His Excellency Dr. Geza Andreas von Geyr, visited the Presidential Academy and met with second and third-year students of the English-language undergraduate program Global Governance and Leadership.

During the discussion, Cross-Cultural Leadership and Team Management, he told the students about the competencies that a modern leader should have to manage a multinational team, and also mentioned the personal qualities that young specialists must develop to become successful in the future.

At the end of the meeting, Dr. Geza Andreas von Geyr shared his own experience in the international diplomatic environment and gave his audience some valuable tips on how to build relationships with international partners.

After meeting with Global Governance and Leadership students, the German Ambassador met with the Academy's Rector, Vladimir Mau, to discuss RANEPA’s collaboration with German universities. The rector expressed interest in creating a Russian-German educational alliance.

Dr. Geza Andreas von Geyr studied political science and history in Munich, Budapest and Vienna. He joined the Foreign Diplomatic Service in 1991. Prior to taking over as the Ambassador to Russia in September 2019, he served with the diplomatic mission in Morocco, as well as at the German Federal Foreign Office.
