Today's policy challenges are global and cross-sectoral – they need solutions that come from every sector. They need people who can lead transformational change. They need public servants who know business, and business people who know the public sector. They need men and women who can solve problems, but manage organizations.
Leaders who have the national perspective, and global vision.
That is why the Institute for Social Sciences of the RANEPA has decided to launch in 2018 a ground-breaking graduate program, the MSc in Global Leadership (+MBA/MPA). It combines, for the first time, an international standard, English-language, dual degree program in public and private sector management and leadership. Students can specialize in either an MPA or an MBA, graduating with a dual degree (either MSc+MPA or MSc+MBA).
The program has leading international faculty, sharing research, experiences, and insights in a problem-focused, practical, and engaged teaching environment. The MSc in Global Leadership (+MBA/MPA) will provide unique personal, educational, and professional opportunities, and be a solid foundation for careers that make a difference.

 Dr. Leslie A. Pal

"Welcome!
As Academic Director, I am pleased to welcome you to the MSc in Global Leadership. I have been working the field of public policy and global governance for many years, and it is an honor to be associated with the School of Public Policy at RANEPA. In addition to holding a Chancellor's Professorship at Carleton University (Canada), I have taught in graduate programs in Europe, Asia, and the Middle East. I have served as a consultant to the World Bank, the OECD, and the Open Society Foundations, and have taught in several Russian university programs over the last decade, and most recently at RANEPA.
It is this experience that convinces me that the MSc in Global Leadership is unique. Its combination of private the public sector expertise, from a global perspective, is innovative and challenging. A key feature for me personally, is the commitment to quality and to the highest standards in graduate education. The faculty are the best in their field and have been asked to give their best in the classroom.
Careful attention has been paid to integrating the learning experience across courses. The program's partners are committed to extending that learning experience and to enriching it.
