GLOBAL GOVERNANCE AND LEADERSHIP is an undergraduate degree program with a global focus designed to make students better leaders in the private, public, governmental, or nonprofit sectors.

With its strong emphasis on leadership, the program gives students the skills needed to make tough choices about critical issues facing today's society.

Specifically tailored to help students develop the skills required to assume a future leadership position, this unique undergraduate program combines normative and empirical approaches to international law, organizations, and processes, and applies them to the analysis of global political institutions and policies. Moreover, the program includes courses in psychology, writing, negotiation, economics and finance, ethical decision-making, logic, and organizational behavior.

All these competencies focus on building what employers are looking for - strong communication and leadership skills, the creation and maintenance of collaborative and productive teams in any environment.

"The GGL program is a distinctive and rewarding English-language undergraduate program focusing on leadership skills in a modern, globalized world. It has a demanding curriculum, much of it taught by leading foreign professors, which provides a solid foundation in social sciences, communications, and management. The learning environment is designed to be challenging as well as supportive, with opportunities for foreign study tours as well as exchanges with partner institutions in Europe and North America."

Dr Leslie A. Pal, Chancellor's Professor of Public Policy and Administration, Carleton University, Director, Centre on Governance and Public Management, Carleton University

"The Global Governance and Leadership program is a unique opportunity to study leadership and communication skills, business, economics, international relations and international law in a warm learning environment within a team of thriving students. In a global and ever-changing world, synergy of all these skills becomes a paramount and highly demanded issue."

Dr. Ilja Neustadt, Professor, RANEPA
