Andrey Knyazev, Sberbank Financial Management Service Director, Meeting with the Global Governance and Leadership Students

unnamed.jpgOn November 20, Sberbank Financial Management Service Director, Andrey Knyazev, held a meeting with the students of the Global Governance and Leadership undergraduate program within the “Corporate Leaders Workshop”.

The workshop was dedicated to the bank structure in Russia, what functions it performs and what trends gain momentum in the financial sector nowadays. The expert invited the students to study the suggested topics in terms of an example of Sberbank – the largest bank in Russia, as well as in Central and Eastern Europe. During the meeting Andrei Knyazev told the students about Sberbank’s brand new innovations, general state of the banking system and how the experts manage to create a system for motivating their employees and increasing their productivity. Andrey Knyazev directed students’ attention to a new project of Sberbank called “Ecosystem”, which is a unified digital technological platform which creates a person-centered set of services, essential for people’s lives and business day-to-day operations. 

The workshop participants asked thought-provoking and relevant questions and also shared their views on the topics, raised by the speaker during his speech. Following the topic of the banking sector, Andrey Knyazev dwelled on the functions he performs as the Director of the financial management service of Sberbank, what tasks he has to solve in this position and what issues he usually gives his undivided attention. 

At the end of the meeting, the invited expert gave the students vital tips on how to properly organize their work in a blue-chip company, what topics are essential to study and what an entrant needs to know in order to choose the right career path.

Andrey Knyazev is the Director of the Financial Management Service of the Sberbank Group. While working in Sberbank for 11 years, Knyazev implemented various projects, such as: "Transformation of the ISU network", "Creating a new system of employee motivation", as well as, "Enhancement and development of Sberbank’s operating function labor productivity".
