Alexander Romanovich, Counsellor to the Head of “A Just Russia” Faction and Deputy Speaker of the State Duma met with the Global Governance and Leadership Students


121148893_387985605913190_1321368850864508747_n.jpgOn October 9, Alexander Romanovich, Counsellor to the Head of “A Just Russia” faction, the State Duma’s Deputy Speaker and Vice Chairman of the State Duma’s Committee on International Affairs, held a meeting with the Global Governance and Leadership students, within the “Political and Social Leaders Workshop” workshop.

The expert dwelled on his professional experience and expertise in the State Duma and as a member of “A Just Russia” faction, and also discussed with the students the peculiarities of working in government agencies and Russian foreign policy. Mr. Romanovich brought up a topic of organizing and managing the work of federal government bodies, discussed what challenges an innocent expert should overcome and also touched upon the international relations and Russia’s position on the global stage.

Students actively participated in the discussion, shared their points and also asked relevant questions. The speaker told the students about the state machine’s main gut issues, current trends and “A Just Russia” current agenda.

At the end of the meeting, the expert gave students vital tips on how to properly organize their work in the state run public authorities and what points a beginner specialist should take into account.

Alexander Romanovich was born in 1952 in Moscow. The Military University of the Ministry of Defense of the Russian Federation graduate (1975), Romanovich started his career as an interpreter consultant in the Republic of Mali, and then as a senior interpreter for the USSR Principal Military adviser (1976).He worked in the Republic of Cuba, Sao Tome and Principe, Angola and Mozambique. From 2011 to 2016 he held the position of a deputy of the State Duma, from 2016 to 2017 he was elected as Vice Chairman of the State Duma, and since 2017 he has been working as a Counsellor to the head of “A Just Russia” faction.
