On November 27, The Public Relations Adviser to the President of the Italian-Russian Chamber of Commerce and Vice President for Marketing and Communications of the Mikro Kapital investment company, Stefano Maggi, held a meeting with the second-year students of the Global Governance and Leadership undergraduate program within the “Corporate Leaders Workshop”.

The workshop was dedicated to the professional activities of Mr. Maggi as a director of a large blue-chip company in Russia, as well as the Public Relations Adviser to the President of the Italian-Russian Chamber of Commerce. The invited expert told the students about his first steps on the career path and challenges he had to face on his way, as well as about the experience he gained while working with large international companies.

During the following discussion, Stefano Maggi spoke about the functions of the Italian-Russian Chamber of Commerce, its activities and whose interests it protects. The expert also discussed with the students what contribution the Italian-Russian Chamber of Commerce makes to the development of the international business environment and how Russia and Italy bilateral relations are currently developing. 

The workshop participants also paid attention to Stefano Maggi’s obligations as a Vice President for Marketing and Communications of the Mikro Kapital investment company, which deals with both investments and microcredit. The speaker told the students who provides the financial support for the company and where it places its funds. 

At the end of the meeting, Stefano Maggi answered questions from students, gave them vital tips on how to properly build the relationships with international business partners and what an entrant needs to know in order to build an interesting and a successful career.
