On January 29 first-year students of the Global Governance and Leadership undergraduate program returned from the internship at the Deutsche Management Akademie Niedersachsen DMAN (Celle, Germany).

DMAN experts ran an intensive course " Global Leadership - a view from the perspective of a successful German region" for GGL students. During the master-classes and workshops our students mastered their leadership skills by completing group projects and working with business case studies.

They also got a unique opportunity to meet the representatives of the largest German companies. During the internship GGL students visited a number of German enterprises, including Volkswagen group, one of the world's largest manufacturers of office supplies - Pelikan Group, design bureaus, industrial companies and others. Top managers told stories of the development and success of their companies, discussed the features of managing multinational teams and shared their own professional experience.

In their free time students got acquainted with the main sights of Lower Saxony and enjoyed delicious German cuisine.

The final task for the students was to present their own projects on the development strategy of a large European company in new markets. All students successfully completed the task and demonstrated a high level of professional skills.
