Institute of Political Science (Sciences Po Paris) and RANEPA sign a student exchange agreement
RANEPA’s Institute of Social Sciences will begin a student exchange at the master’s level in the 2018-19 academic year with the renowned Institute of Political Sciences (known universally as Sciences Po Paris.
As stated in the agreement, “The purpose is to enhance each institution’s teaching, learning, and internationalization objectives.”
Both sides agreed that the two institutions would review the program annually for any imbalances in the number of exchange students and would adjust the numbers of students when needed, in order to keep a balanced exchange program. As specified in the official document, Sciences Po and RANEPA can send and accept not more than one master’s student per year in each direction.
RANEPA ION runs robust exchange activities aimed at students studying public policy in the English-taught international master’s and undergraduate programs, as well as in other degree programs that are dual-language and taught with international faculty.
Professor Robin Lewis, Director of the Master of Global Public Policy (MGPP) Program at RANEPA, said, “I have had the pleasure of working with colleagues at Sciences Po for over twenty years: their academic quality is second to none, their faculty is talented and dedicated, and their passion for innovation marks them as a top university not just in Europe, but around the world.”
Sciences Po was established in February 1872 as the École Libre des Sciences Politiques by a group of French intellectuals, politicians, and businessmen. Sciences Po is considered to be a highly influential academic institution in the social sciences in France and its alumni include many notable public figures, including seven of the last eight French presidents, 12 foreign heads of state or government, and heads of international organizations.
