Art campus of RANEPA Design School
will open in Ivanovo Region

On May 24, the Russian Presidential Academy of National Economy and Public Administration (RANEPA) and the Government of the Ivanovo Region signed a declaration on cooperation. The RANEPA Design School will open an art campus in the region as part of the cooperation project.


RANEPA Rector Vladimir Mau and Acting Governor of the Ivanovo Region Stanislav Voskresensky signed the declaration during the St. Petersburg International Economic Forum. RANEPA Design School Director Sofya Trotsenko, art producer, founder of the Winzavod Centre For Contemporary Art in Moscow and Adviser to the Minister of Culture, will supervise the new art campus will be the.

Students of the RANEPA Institute of Social Sciences (ISS) Design School will do their practicum at the campus. They will study the historical and cultural heritage of the Ivanovo Region and work on projects to develop an identity and brand of the cities of Ivanovo and Yurevets, and design a relevant tourist brand, advertising and information materials and an art tourist map of the region.

The declaration envisages strategic cooperation in educational, cultural, and practical work, as well as support and development of creative activity in the Ivanovo region.
